Simple Shrimp Skewers

I have an obsession with shrimp. At my cousin’s beautiful wedding last weekend, I stationed myself in from of the shrimp appetizers until my hubby had to take my arm and walk me away.

I can’t help it- I love shrimp. You don’t need to season up shrimp too much (or at all), and it’s delicious. In the summer, shrimp skewers are even more amazing — simple flavors over a grill. Does it get better than this?

Yes, it does. We paired this dinner with corn picked from the farm the day before. Yay summer!

  • 1 pound raw shrimp (I used frozen tail-off shrimp and thawed the shrimp before making the skewers.)
  • black pepper
  • garlic salt
  • skewers
  • Servings: 4
  • Difficulty: easy


Place 4-5 shrimp on each skewer.


Generously season each side with garlic salt and pepper. Grill until the shrimp just barely turns pink.
