Well, hello again friends! Did you miss me? I certainly missed all of you over the past couple weeks when I have been MIA. I had a big work event this past weekend, and everything else in my life stopped dead in its tracks. Including cooking…and eating too for that matter. I ate a lot of jelly beans, and now I am ready for some real food.
But I’m still catching up on my sleep, so I’m all about quick meals….and of course, crescent rolls This recipe I adapted from Pillsbury was absolutely amazing! I’m happy to be back to the world of blogging and eating!
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 can of crescent rolls
- 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbs butter, melted
- Prep time: 20 minutes
- Cook time: 25 minutes
- Servings: 4-6
- Difficulty: easy
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a pie plate with cooking spray.
In a skillet, brown the ground beef and onions. Drain grease and stir in pasta sauce. Pour the beef mixture into pie plate and top with the mozzarella cheese.
Unroll the crescent rolls, separate into triangles, and arrnage the points to the center of the pie plate. Crimp the edges up to make it look pretty like you would do to any other pie.
In a small bowl, mix parmesan cheese with butter. Spread over the dough.
Bake for 18 to 25 minutes. Enjoy!
