My baby bear is two month old– I can’t even believe it! So, I haven’t even had a welcome baby post or show you my nursery, but I promise it will come. At some point. Until then, you can find me sitting on the couch smiling at baby and being thrilled that he is smiling and cooing back.

I’m exhausted but so happy and so in love with our little bear. He even helped me no-bake for this month of the Leftovers Club!

I was paired with Faye from Live…Bake…Love… this month. She’s another amazing member of the group! I can’t wait to see what she sends me. The past couple months, I have savored what my partners have sent– often it’s a whole meal :) (since I no longer have time to eat). If I get a lukewarm cup of coffee, I am ecstatic!

I sent Faye Honey-Peanut Butter Cheerio Bites. These were so easy to make and no baking required. They are also a go-to for me as a snack or breakfast :)

  • 1 1/2 cups Peanut Butter
  • 1 cup Honey
  • 6 cups Multigrain Cheerios
  • Difficulty: easy

Directions

Line 9x13 pan with aluminum foil, and place aside.

In a medium saucepan, cook peanut butter and honey over medium heat-- stirring consistently until it is all blended.

Turn off heat and stir in cereal. Mix until evenly coated.

Cook peanut butter and honey over medium heat stirring constantly until completely melted and blended.

Pour into casserole dish and flatten. I used parchment paper to flatten by hand. Refrigerate for one hour. Cut bars with pizza cutter. Store extras in fridge.

I’ve got an unopened box of Honey Nut Cheerios, would those be okay instead of multigrain or would the taste be off? Thanks, they look yummy.

I’m sure they would be fine too! You can never have too much honey :)

These bars sound like a delicious snack! The baby is beautiful! We used to call our son “bear” too. We still do sometimes and he’s 9. Lol So glad you’re doing well in blissful baby land. 😀
