Cheesy Chicken Spaghetti {slow cooker}

May 14

It’s another night with the slow cooker. Moving day is SOOOOO close, and I just want quick, simple meals. I mean, I ALWAYS want simple and quick meals but especially this time.

I kept seeing this awesome recipe from Lauren’s Latest on my facebook newsfeed, pinterest, etc. So I finally made it and am so happy I did. I tweaked the recipe ever so slightly.

Crock pot and pasta– a win-win. Yay carbs!

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 bag frozen peppers
  • 2-3 jalapeno rings, diced
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 lb cooked spaghetti
  • 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • Prep time: 10 minutes
  • Cook time: less than 5 hours
  • Servings: 4
  • Difficulty: easy

In a slow cooker, add onion, peppers, jalapenos, cumin, garlic powder, salt, pepper, chicken, mushroom soup, and 1 cup of cheese to the crock pot. Stir to mix. Cook on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is cooked through.

Remove chicken, shred, and return to crock-pot. Stir in cooked spaghetti and rest of the cheese. Cook another 20-30 minutes. Serve and enjoy!

What an easy way to make a great sauce for spaghetti. For some reason I have been having pasta cravings. It’s spring! I should be craving pasta in the winter. Oh well.
    I find this appealing.
