Guess who is making another recipe in a crescent roll and has two thumbs? This girl!
I was attempting to make dinner with almost no food in the fridge– so I decided on breakfast for dinner. Already delicious, right? Then, I found a package of crescent rolls. If you could have seen me in that moment; I was smiling like a cheshire cat!
This breakfast for dinner is close to perfection At least in my opinion…and the hubby’s too, especially since there is bacon in it!
- 1 package reduced-fat crescent rolls
- 6 eggs
- 1/4 cup skim milk
- 4 sliced cooked bacon, diced (or 2 tbs real bacon bits)
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Cajun seasoning
- Servings: 4
- Difficulty: easy
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Mix in bacon. Scramble eggs over medium to medium-high heat.
Prepare baking sheets with cooking spray. Open crescent roll packages. Separate each package into eight sections (four per package)-- a perforated line will divide each section-- press dough together to close the divider as best you can. Spoon egg mixture into center of each crescent sections. Close dough around mixture and place on cooking sheet. Repeat for all the crescent rolls. Sprinkle with cajun seasoning.
Bake 11-13 minutes.
